Proxy users experiencing problems with Facebook from Iran

Ainita Tech team reports, users are experiencing serious problems with Facebook from Iran in past few days, and it seems Iranian government is testing different methods and gained the ability to block some certain websites ( i.e. Youtube, and now Facebook ) even when user is using a SSL PROXY tunnelling to circumvent their filtering system.

Users practically lost ability to connect to Facebook using SSL proxy and our support department is suggeting to switch to VPN until we get to the bottom of this new developments.

The Iranian government is really pressing ahead with all their got, experimenting new ways on SSL, trying to shut down VPN protocols in past summer and as they announced, they will in near future, so we call on other organizations involved in fighting against Internet censorship to join forces with us and think of a solution before it's too late.

بنا به گزارش تیم فنی پروژه آی نیتا طی چند روز اخیر کاربران پروکسی برای ورود به صفحه فیسبوک با مشکلاتی مواجه بودند. به نظر می رسد دولت ایران در آزمایش ترفندهایش برای بستن برخی از سایت ها مانند یوتیوب و فیسبوک حتی زمانی که کاربر از پروکسی SSL  برای دور زدن سیستم فیلترینگ استفاده می کند، به موفقیت رسیده است.

دسترسی کابران از طریق پروکسی SSL  به فیسبوک عملا قطع شده است و پیشنهاد تیم فنی ما تا زمانی که راه حلی برای این موضوع بیابیم استفاده از VPN  است.

دولت ایران با به کارگیری تمام قوای خود در حال ایجاد راهی برای بستن پروکسی های SSL  و همانطور که از تابستان سال پیش نیز اعلام کرده بودند در پی بستن پورت های VPN  می باشد و ما با درخواست کمک از دیگر سازمان های مخالف سانسور اینترنت در حال یافتن راهی مناسب برای مفابله با این موضوع هستیم.
