Iran's internet capacity must be increased by 8 times

Trend news reported that Iran's internet capacity must be increased by 8 times, country's Communications Minister Reza Taghipour said, IRIB News reported. Taghipour noted that based on the country's five-year development plan, internet capacity must be increased by as much as 8 times. The minister said that Iran's current capacity of 63 gb/s speed is to be increased up to 500 gb/s. He added that there cannot be any quarantees that this will be fulfilled within a 5 year development plan, yet Iran can complete it within 6 years or so.

Trend news به نقل از IRIB گزارش داد که بگفتهٔ وزیر ارتباطات ظرفیت اینترنت ایران باید ۸ برابر افزایش یابد. تقی‌پور همچنین با اشاره به برنامهٔ توسعه ۵ ساله گفته که ظرفیت اینترنت باید ۸ برابر یعنی‌ از ۶۳ گیگابایت در ثانیه که حجم کنونی است به ۵۰۰ گیگابایت در ثانیه افزایش پیدا کند. او همچنین اشاره کرد که ممکن است این طرح تا پایان برنامهٔ ۵ ساله تکمیل نشود و زمان بیشتری را نیاز داشته باشد.
