Iran Establishes Security Operations Center to Tackle Attacks, Vulnerabilities
Turkish Weekly reported that Iran has established a security operations center (SOC) to tackle various attacks and security vulnerabilities, Mehr news agency reported. A security operations center (SOC) is a centralized unit in an organization that deals with security issues, on an organizational and technical level. An SOC within a building or facility is a central location from where staff supervises the site, using data processing technology. Currently the technology in the center is in test regime, and is to be launched in full force on July 18. Fifteen people work three shifts, tweaking the system before its launch on the mentioned date.
خبرگذاری مهر گزارش داد که نخستین مرکز عملیات امنیت شبکه های ارتباطی و اینترنتی در کشور که جزء معدود مراکز SOC در سطح دنیا محسوب می‌شود با هدف پیشگیری و مقابله با تحرکات خرابکارانه رایانه ای تا دو هفته دیگر به بهره برداری می رسد.
به گزارش خبرنگار مهر، مرکز SOC یا Security Operations Center با تکیه بر مجموعه ای از تجهیزات سخت افزاری و نرم افزاری نسبت به جمع آوری گزارشات سیستمها و سرویسهای امنیتی شبکه های ارتباطی و سپس مونیتورینگ و تحلیل آنها اقدام می کند؛ این سیستم که برای مدیریت امنیت شبکه نصب و راه‌اندازی می شود دارای مکانیزم‌های بررسی تجهیزات شبکه به صورت خودکار است و برای جلوگیری از نفوذ هکرها و تهدید حملات از طریق منابع داخلی و منابع خارجی تعبیه می‌شود.
