Stockholm Internet Forum
The Stockholm Internet Forum is a conference that aims to deepen the discussions on how freedom and openness on the Internet promote economic and social development worldwide. It was held for the first time in may 2012. This years conference will take place May 22-23 in Stockholm.
The Forum aims to bring together policymakers, civil society representatives, activists, business representatives and technical community representatives. Freedom and openness, respect for human rights, innovation and global development are the key concepts for the Forum.The conference have two main themes this year: Internet Freedom and Security, and Internet Freedom and Development.
The Stockholm Internet Forum will be held at Münchenbryggeriet (The Brewery) at Södermalm in Stockholm.
The Stockholm Internet Forum is organized by:
1.The Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs
. Freedom on the Internet is a priority throughout the Ministry for Foreign Affairs – in foreign policy, development policy and trade policy. Minister for Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt has become involved in the international debate in favour of freedom on the Internet.
2..SE (The Internet Infrastructure Foundation)
.SE is an independent organization for the benefit of the public that promotes the positive development of the Internet in Sweden. .SE promotes research, development, training and education in computer and telecommunication, with a specific focus on the Internet. An open Internet with free flow of information is one of .SE:s most important goals.
3. The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida)
. Sida has a mission to help create conditions that will enable poor people to improve the quality of their lives. Swedish development aid follows three thematic priorities; democracy and human rights, environment and climate change and gender equality and women’s role.

تالار گفتگوی اینترنت در استکهلم
موضوع اصلی این کنفرانس که برای اولین بار در ماه می سال 2012 برگزار شد و امسال در تاریخ 22 و 23 ماه می در استکهلم نیز برپا می باشد، بررسی این مسئله است که تا چه حد آزادی تبادل اطلاعات در اینترنت می تواند به رشد اقتصادی و فرهنگی انسان ها در جامعه جهانی کمک کند
هدف از این کنفرانس گردهمایی قانونگذاران ، نمایندگان جامعه مدنی ، نمایندگان تجاری و نمایندگان جامعه فنی می باشد. از مهمترین مضامین مورد بحث در این کنفرانس می توان به آزادی اینترنت ، احترام به حقوق بشر ، نوآوری و توسعه جهانی اشاره کرد. اهداف اصلی کنفرانس امسال به این شرح میباشد:
آزادی استفاده از اینترنت و امنیت و آزادی استفاده از اینترنت و توسعه
تالار گفتگوی اینترنت استکهلم از حمایت سازمان های زیر برخوردار است:
- وزارت امور خارجه سوئد : آزادی دسترسی به اینترنت از نظر سیاست خارجی، سیاست توسعه و سیاست تجاری برای این وزارتخانه در اولویت می باشد. همچنین شایان ذکر است که وزیر امور خارجه این کشور یکی از اعضای فعال در مناظره های بین المللی برای حمایت از آزادی اینترنت می باشد.
- موسسه زیر ساخت های اینترنتی یا .SE : .SE یک انجمن مستقل است که تمامی فعالیت های آن به نفع عموم و در راه گسترش مثبت استفاده از اینترنت در سوئد می باشد. این انجمن به گسترش فعالیت های تحقیقاتی ، آموزشی ، تحصیلی در زمینه کامپیوتر و ارتباطات کمک می کند. دسترسی به اینترنتی آزاد که حجم بالایی از اطلاعات را در اختیار کاربران قرار دهد ، یکی از اهراف اصلی این انجمن می باشد.
-آژانس توسعه فعالیت های بین المللی سوئد : ماموریت اصلی این آژانس کمک رسانی به قشر فقیر جامعه برای داشتن زندگی بهتر می باشد.این آژانس برای دستیابی به هدف خود سه اولویت زیر را مد نظر دارد :
- آزادی و حقوق بشر
- محیط زیست و تغییرات جوی
- برابری جنسیتی و نقش زنان
